DocuXplorer's Enterprise Edition
Our multi-user document management solution, offers customers a complete, secure, easy-to-use and affordable platform that will make your team more productive and your business more profitable.
DocuXplorer's Enterprise solution is shared by users over a network with data stored on a server. The server runs on any Microsoft platform, as well as on Linux and Novell operating systems. DocuXplorer Enterprise is scalable, so you can easily expand DocuXplorer to your network as your usage grows. We have clients with less than five licenses, while some of our larger clients have hundreds of licenses.
Sybase Advantage database
DocuXplorer Enterprise incorporates Sybase's Advantage client/server database. Sybase Advantage has proven itself to be fast and reliable - an excellent choice for any size business, particularly those without an IT department. Since the database is integrated into DocuXplorer a database administrator is not required. Sybase Advantage runs as a service and can be backed up while the database service is running.
Security
DocuXplorer is fully compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), HIPAA, SEC, NASD, Finra, ISO and FDA regulations for document security, confidentiality, document and record life-cycle retention management and audit trails. DocuXplorer's enhanced security allows you to customize permissions for users and groups of users based on your organization's security requirements and business processes.
Permissions are initially set as a global default at the top level. Administrators can then modify user or group permissions for any level of the DocuXplorer program: cabinet, drawer, folder, document or index field. If a user does not have access to a particular item, it remains invisible. Document/record retention rules can be implemented using automated fields that determine the end date of a document/record life cycle. ·
Supporting remote users
DocuXplorer is compatible with Terminal Services, Citrix ®, GoToMyPC ® and other remote access software, so users can access the DocuXplorer Library from remote locations via the Internet. Remote Scan ® for Terminal Services or Citrix.
Users can even scan documents from remote locations using a variety of third-party software. Increasingly, a portion of a company’s staff are using Macintosh ® computers. We recommend that a Remote Desktop Connection is utilized to support these users. Macintosh users will have full access to the power of the DocuXplorer platform, but do not need to have the software installed directly on their computers.
Licensing model
DocuXplorer's Enterprise Edition site license is based on the number of concurrent users. So, for example, 20 subscription licenses will support up to 20 simultaneous users logged in at a given time. The software may be installed on any number of computers at no charge. As part of the first year of your license(s), you will receive free email support, updates, upgrades, full access to all DocuXplorer features, remote installation and initial telephone/web-based training. After the first twelve months, an annual maintenance subscription will then be applied.
Financing available
Through a preferred alliance with Tiger Leasing, we are now able to offer special financing options to clients who may wish to extend their payment terms over time. In situations where limited budgets would ordinarily delay the purchase of DocuXplorer licenses due to a limit on capital expenditures, leasing allows for quick budget approval due to its small monthly expense. A lease can fit the tightest of budgetary constraints.
