Overview

DocuXplorer provides a complete document management solution for document handling and storage.  The software provides users with an extremely effective method of quickly finding, sharing and accessing all types of documents, both scanned in paper and electronic. With the release of DocuXplorer 4 Enterprise, the ease-of-use, security, reliability and affordability of DocuXplorer is available to any size enterprise.  DocuXplorer uses a familiar Windows Explorer style interface making it an easy-to-use, low-cost solution that requires little training and virtually no technology expertise.  Unlike other document management systems, DocuXplorer requires no IT department or outside consultant for installation, setup or administration.  The document indexing system is designed to be intuitive and user-generated, reflecting the way users think about and look for data.  Data input requirements are minimal with the use of DocuXplorer's smart indexing methodologies. The program includes at no additional cost integration with MS Office, built-in  OCR, database, full text search, PDF creation, and print driver to convert any printable document from any Windows program to a PDF document for storage in DocuXplorer, all at no extra cost. DocuXplorer also provides significant added value with its extended database and reporting features.  DocuXplorer provides extensive security and audit features that are compliant with SEC, NASD, and HIPAA regulations providing Financial Services, Investment Advisory, Insurance, and the Medical Care industries with a complete solution to their paperless office and regulatory requirements.

Technology

DocuXplorer employs advanced technology to work seamlessly with clients’ existing hardware, software and operating systems.  The DocuXplorer client software is installed on each user’s hard drive and data is server-based, allowing multiple users to share and access files within a system.  Database functionality provides fast search and display capability.  No additional systems investment is required and zero technology expertise is needed to fully integrate DocuXplorer as a complete data management system.


 

Sales Growth

DocuXplorer continued to realized record sales growth in 2005; as more and more businesses and organizations discover the value of DocuXplorer. With the addition of new features such as the PDF Print Driver, PDF conversion functionality, and integration with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and Junxure-I, Docuxplorer has once again responded to the growing needs of our clients, providing them with the most complete high quality document management experience at the lowest possible cost.

Expectations for 2006 are very high as we will introduce integration with Microsoft Office in the first quarter and a new Backup/Disaster Recovery Service later in the year. Plans also include integration with more third party software products adding the value of DocuXplorer's powerful document database.

Growth continues to be very strong in the financial services and healthcare fields as medical facilities, and financial management companies have found DocuXplorer an excellent solution for managing client and patient documents for SEC, NASD and  HIPAA compliance.


Management Team

Co-founders Ira Fogel and Ron Wyman bring many years of technology expertise and comprehensive practical business experience which is applied to product development, consulting practices and internal business structure.  The company’s advisory board is made up of professionals who provide counsel on both business practices and product development.

 

Ira Fogel, CEO and Co-Founder

Mr. Fogel developed the idea for DocuXplorer after consulting for many years with small and medium size businesses on reengineering operations practices through technology.  Prior to building his consulting practice, Ira was the president and owner of a garment accessories manufacturing company, which he grew eight-fold by employing new sales strategies and increasing productivity and lowering costs through improvements to the manufacturing process and introduction of computer technologies to what had been a very low-tech industry. 

 

Prior to building this expertise in solutions management, Mr. Fogel enjoyed a sixteen-year career as a television producer and director of such programs as Good Morning America , Those Amazing Animals, That’s Incredible and The Home Show. Mr. Fogel is a graduate of the prestigious NYU School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and Television Production.

Ron Wyman, CTO and Co-Founder

A true entrepreneur, Mr. Wyman has been independently employed throughout his entire career.  By age 20, Ron had built a photography studio business boasting such clients as Seagrams, Tiffany, and Fuji Films.  There he implemented a proprietary inventory control system and built numerous applications for accounting, project management, cataloguing, etc., years before the IBM desktop had been invented.  Recognizing this passion for technology, Ron moved away from photography towards computer programming and for the last fifteen years has been creating custom software systems for clients such as ING Baring and consulting on a variety of projects with MIT and other technology think tanks.  

 

It was a natural fit as Mr. Wyman had already been working on the concept of a document management solution when he teamed with Mr. Fogel more than eight years ago.
