March 22, 2006

New features.

  1. Integration with Microsoft Office - user will be able to save documents directly from either Outlook, Word, Excel or PowerPoint, directly to a DocuXplorer folder.

  2. Ability to force users to save Microsoft Office documents to DocuXplorer.

  3. New Templates functionality allows users to create a new document from a template document stored in the new DocuXplorer Templates folder to any DocuXplorer folder.

  4. New Auto-Index Values

  5. New Extract Text feature for PDF documents allows full content searches of PDF documents

  6. Default Index Set property can now be inherited by child folders

    1. Allows import of Users and Groups from Active Directory sources

    2. Permissions can be set for any function of the application and be associated to any user or group of users.
