Memo Field

The Memo Field allows users to add memo information to a document. Auto-Indexing Variables can be used to pre-populate memo fields with data drawn from variables such as, Cabinet, Drawer or Folder Name, Network User Name, Today's Date, Incrementing numbers and more. Memo data can  then be used in full-text document searches.

 

To add information to a memo field:

A Memo Field is displayed as an icon in a field. The icon displayed will change depending on contents of  the memo text box:
