DocuXplorer Enterprise - for both small and large enterprises

DocuXplorer Enterprise, our multi-user system, is provided with concurrent user licensing. Concurrent user licensing allows a client to install DocuXplorer to all your computers but you only need purchase licenses for the number of users that will be accessing the library simultaneously. Concurrent user licensing make DocuXplorer Enterprise a perfect fit for small business where cost is often a major factor in the purchase decision.

DX Enterprise is scalable from one concurrent user to many hundreds of concurrent users allowing clients to easily expand their DocuXplorer system whenever needed.

With DX Enterprise the data is stored on a server. That server can be running any Microsoft network operating system 2000 or above, Linux or Novell.

The DocuXplorer system price includes the Sybase Advantage client/server database, a Sybase product, that requires no database administrator. Advantage runs as a service and can be backed up while the database service is running. Advantage has proven itself to be fast and reliable, a perfect fit for any size business, especially those without an IT department on staff. The system price also includes e-mail support, updates and upgrades for the first 12 months of ownership and installation via Internet and telephone.

DocuXplorer Enterprise Document Management offers clients a complete, secure, easy-to-use, affordable document management system that will make you more productive and your business more profitable. We back this statement up with a downloadable 30-day free trial to try DocuXplorer before you buy it. The free trial is a fully functional Professional edition that will work on a local computer. When the trial is complete and if you choose to purchase DocuXplorer, your work is never lost; the Library is simply moved to your server during installation with all its data and properties completely intact. 

Security

DocuXplorer Security and Event Logs provides compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), HIPAA, SEC, NASD, ISO and FDA regulations for document security, confidentiality, retention and audit trail.

While DocuXplorer security, like other programs, provides you the ability to select default settings for Read Only, Read/Write and Full Controls it goes far beyond other document management software allowing you to customize permissions for users and groups of users for any function of the program based on your security and business process needs.

Permissions are first set at the Library level as a global default. Administrators can then change user or group permissions for any DocuXplorer object; Cabinet, Drawer, Folder, Document or Index Field for unprecedented flexibility in allowing users to see or work with documents and index data.

Functions that permissions can be set for include;

  • Object Visibility - based on user login any DocuXplorer object, Cabinet, Drawer, Folder, Document, or even an index field can be hidden from view allowing administrators to determine a users display.
  • Create or Delete Cabinets, Drawers or Folder.

  • Move, copy or delete documents

 Inactivity Logout allows DocuXplorer users to fully comply with document confidentiality regulations. A user-defined inactivity timeout can be set to log a user out of the DocuXplorer Library. This is valuable when a user goes to lunch and forgets to shut down the program.  This functionality is also useful in assuring that you get full value from you concurrent user licenses by automatically logging out inactive users and allowing other users to access the Library.

Remote Access

DocuXplorer is compatible with Terminal Services, Citrix, GoToMyPC or other remote access software allowing users to access the DocuXplorer Library from remote locations via the Internet.

Using can even scan documents from remote locations using 3rd party software such as Remote Scan for Terminal Services or Citrix.
